Blindness

Sometimes you have to take the camera out and see the situation you are in from outside, from above. People sometimes hold on to their passion and love for someone else so blindly that they cannot see clearly anymore. They think they can’t loose, they think about their loved ones and they believe there is no way they can afford loosing them. What they don’t see in such cases is that their hands are already empty. You have to take their camera out and show it to them from above. Let them see that they are standing there alone, holding tight an empty shell of a lover who is long gone.

If one day you see such a man or a woman, don’t let them suffer. Walk to them and let them see what they aren’t able to see.

The light is dim. Simone Dinnerstein is playing Bach French Suite No. 5. The room has a cozy feeling, with light-beige carpets and a dark-brown and red theme of the furniture. There is a half a glass of red wine on a handmade silver tray on top of the red couch. The light comes from the window and leaves the pattern of the window frame over the room.
